The Moose Fireplace Grill™ was invented by Mark Allen, of Newton, Iowa, while enjoying an outdoor fire with his family and friends. "Why not be able to cook on outdoors with ease?"
Sketches on napkins, turned to sketches on paper and eventually talking with designers, lots of research, trial and error and THE MOOSE FIREPLACE GRILL™ was born. The company - well, it's small - it is Mark, his wife Emily and their five children who often help Dad navigate social media posts, recording videos and taste-testing food cooked on The Moose. While we may be small we are very proud of what we have accomplished so far and we know that you are going to love The Moose Fireplace Grill™ too! |

We had a great run! The Moose Fireplace Grill is one of the Top 4 Coolest Things Made in Iowa and we are so very proud. We want to take a moment to thank you to ABI for a wonderful experience. Congratulations to John Deere for taking home the trophy for The Coolest Thing Made in Iowa 2025. And to all our fellow nominees, what an amazing thing to see so many cool and innovative ideas and products coming from Iowa. We have had so much fun through this process.
